CAULIFLOWER RICE

For vegans and non-vegans, here is an easy to make Cauli Rice Recipe

Equipment

  • food processor
  • shredder
  • blender

Ingredients

  • 1 big head Cauliflower
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 piece onion finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced (optional)
  • Kosher salt or any regular salt
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp soy sauce (optional)
  • parsley finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash cauliflower thoroughly
  • In a bowl, remove the stems
  • If you have a food processor or a blender , use it to easily grate or shred the cauliflower florets, if none a grater will do.
  • Heat a pan, put a little olive oil
  • Saute the onion and garlic (optional)
  • Add the grated cauliflower, stir until its softened.
  • Season with pepper, salt and a bit of sugar to taste.
  • Serve hot with any meat or fish dishes
